Flying a kite is a great outdoor activity that the entire family can enjoy. Better yet, it is a great opportunity to take some photos for your family scrapbook...there's nothing cuter than tiny, beaming faces looking up into the sky at a kite they're trying so hard to hold on to. We ended up tying the string to our boys' wrists so they wouldn't let go. I have a great picture of me tying the string to my son's wrist while he has a look on his face that says "Mommy, no!
